Quality Project Analyst, HEDIS - Remote UnitedHealthcare invites qualified applicants to join its Quality Reporting Operations team. This role supports the collection, analysis, and reporting of HEDIS data, contributing directly to the company’s mission of improving health‑care quality for millions of people. Key Responsibilities • Facilitate, oversee, and monitor ongoing business processes to support HEDIS® data reporting, ensuring compliance with turnaround times and accuracy standards. • Evaluate processes and outcomes against benchmarks, identify potential business impacts, and develop project plans (e.g., communication, implementation steps) using relevant tools and databases. • Manage NCQA submissions (Health Plan Roadmap, HOQ), benchmark reviews, and rate outlier concerns across HEDIS® projects (initial, refresh, final). • Coordinate data loads (SDS, vendor medical record events), perform QA of hybrid MRR projects, and update rates to meet business requirements. • Ensure all hybrid exclusions are correctly entered into HEDIS® software, coordinate clinical reviews, and complete all upgrade and final freeze steps. • Collaborate with vendors, LOB operations teams, and cross‑functional groups to resolve technical issues, improve processes, and implement solutions. • Analyze metrics and analytics to identify root causes and propose data‑driven improvements, leading workgroups and participating in software testing efforts. • Maintain current knowledge of relevant regulations, HEDIS® technical specifications, and industry impacts (e.g., accreditation, STARs, FEHB). • Summarize and communicate proposed solutions, escalations, and risk impacts to stakeholders and managers. • Assess customer needs, develop solutions for non‑standard requests, and coach colleagues as a resource. Required Qualifications • 3+ years of analysis and reporting experience. • 2+ years of HEDIS or CMS stars experience. • Ability to interpret and analyze large data sets from multiple sources. • Healthcare industry experience. • Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel. • Excellent communication, time/project management, problem‑solving, organization, and analytical skills. • Proven ability to manage and prioritize deliverables. Preferred Qualifications • Experience creating reports. • Proficiency in certified HEDIS® software. • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $71,200 – $127,200 annually. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, equity stock purchase, 401(k) contributions, and incentive and recognition programs.
