Quality Control Specialist (US/Night Shift) - Remote Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Fictiv, a leading technology company transforming the $350 billion manufacturing industry. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of custom mechanical parts for our Fortune 500 customers, working closely with our US-based team to drive operational excellence and continual improvement.

About the Role:

As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for:


Conducting remote inspections of part photographs, inspection reports, and other documentation uploaded by our US manufacturing partners
Releasing conforming parts and providing clear and timely information to manufacturing partners about the reason(s) for rejection
Entering nonconformance information into our proprietary Workbench system to drive improvement actions
Supporting our industry-leading on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance by ensuring parts are released on time and defect-free
Collaborating with colleagues in India and the US to improve business processes and increase efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:


A minimum of 5 years of manufacturing quality control experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience working US business hours
Experience with 3D printed, CNC machined, injection molded, and sheet metal fabricated parts, including finishes
Good visual acuity and English reading and writing skills
Strong self-starter skills, with the ability to manage time efficiently and complete work in a timely manner without active supervision
