Quality Assurance Testing Analyst IV
Remote (CST or EST)
12-month Contract
Pay Rate: $55.00 - $59.00 per hr.
This is a QA lead role requiring both leadership and hands-on skills. The QA Analyst IV will plan, coordinate, and report on all QA activities across a banking-focused software project while also being ready to pitch in on hands-on testing if needed. The lead will work closely with offshore and onshore QA resources, project managers, and business stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
ā¢ Own and lead QA planning and coordination
ā¢ Monitor, track, and report on QA progress and metrics
ā¢ Review requirements and test documentation
ā¢ Lead defect triage and risk-based testing practices
ā¢ Collaborate across QA, Dev, and Business teams
ā¢ Coordinate with performance testing (not hands-on)
ā¢ Contribute to hands-on testing during critical periods
ā¢ Strong analytical skills with report tracking
ā¢ Expected to track KPI's of the team
Required Skills:
ā¢ 8+ years total QA experience (or 12+ without degree)
ā¢ 3+ years recent QA lead experience (flexible on recency if the experience is substantial)
ā¢ Strong knowledge of SDLC, QA lifecycle, and defect management
ā¢ Experience with risk-based testing, metrics tracking, and reporting
ā¢ Hands-on experience with manual and API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
ā¢ Test management tools (e.g., QTest preferred)
ā¢ Jira and Tricentis
ā¢ Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
ā¢ Experience in CI/CD environments
Bonus Skills:
ā¢ Prior banking/financial services or treasury management domain knowledge
ā¢ No performance testing experience required, it will help if they have, will assist with performance teamApply Now
