POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled Linux System Engineer with a background in Quality Assurance (QA), particularly in virtualized environments using Hyper-V. In this role, you will focus on building and managing Linux-based virtual environments for testing purposes, automating QA processes, and ensuring efficient system performance. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing Hyper-V infrastructure and developing automation solutions to support our testing and development cycles.
The Quality Assurance Tester will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Manage and configure Linux-based virtual environments within Hyper-V for QA testing purposes.
Build and automate tools that streamline QA processes and support efficient software development lifecycle.
Develop and maintain test environments, ensuring that they replicate real-world scenarios and are stable for testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Linux environment, applications, and performance in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Create and manage scripts to automate manual testing tasks and monitoring.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
Collaborate with QA teams to design, implement, and maintain test environments that simulate production systems.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Hyper-V virtualization platform and managing virtualized Linux environments.
Expertise in scripting languages such as Bash, or PowerShell.
Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix systems (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat, etc.).
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
You must learn the ThreatLocker products, features, and use cases.
Proficiency in configuring and using ThreatLocker products.
Stay updated on product updates and actively participate in training.
WORKING CONDITIONS
