Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. This role is crucial in identifying bugs, improving user experience, and maintaining high standards of software quality.
Duties
Ā Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality.
Ā Perform manual and automated testing on various applications to ensure compliance with specifications.
Ā Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on software usability.
Ā Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools.
Ā Conduct regression testing after fixes or enhancements are made to the software.
Ā Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the QA process.
Ā Assist in troubleshooting software issues by analyzing logs and system behavior.
Ā Maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, results, and defect reports.
Skills
The successful candidate should possess a combination of the following skills:
Ā Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, or similar.
Ā Experience with version control systems like GitLab.
Ā Familiarity with software troubleshooting techniques.
Ā Knowledge of business analysis principles to understand user requirements effectively.
Ā Understanding of computer networking concepts relevant to software testing environments.
Ā Experience with JDBC for database connectivity testing.
Ā Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS for deployment testing.
Ā Proficient in XML for data interchange validation.
