Quality Assurance Specialist / Software Tester

What You'll Do
ā¢ Put our software through its paces, clicking every button, testing every flow, and trying to break the UI in creative ways
ā¢ Test APIs to make sure everything works as expected under different conditions
ā¢ Run tests across multiple devices including iPhones, Android phones, and smart TVs like Samsung and LG
ā¢ Use Chrome DevTools and the inspector console to dig into issues and understand what's happening under the hood
ā¢ Document your findings clearly and thoroughly, complete with screenshots so our developers know exactly what's going on
ā¢ Collaborate with the dev team to reproduce bugs and verify fixes
What We're Looking For
ā¢ Someone who genuinely enjoys testing software and takes pride in catching the small stuff
ā¢ A natural curiosity that drives you to poke around, take things apart, and figure out how they work
ā¢ Solid understanding of basic development concepts like APIs, UI, UX, and how web applications function
ā¢ Access to multiple testing devices (iPhone, Android phone, and ideally a smart TV)
ā¢ Experience using browser developer tools, especially Chrome's inspector console
ā¢ Excellent documentation skills with the ability to write clear, actionable bug reports
ā¢ A track record that shows you're good at this, whether through previous QA roles or projects you can share
ā¢ Strong attention to detail and an almost obsessive need to make sure things work correctly
Nice to Have
ā¢ Experience testing digital signage applications or media players
ā¢ Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or similar platforms
ā¢ Basic understanding of how to read code or API responses
ā¢ Experience with automated testing tools
