The Role

Behind the name, we’ve built a bespoke platform and tools that allow us to continue exceeding players’ expectations, and that keep our own processes running efficiently. Our fast-growing player base demands a lot from Lottomart, and we’re looking for the right people to help take our customer offering and our in-house systems to the next level.

To help us scale even further, we want the right people to bring QA experience and industry best practises to our team. This role will be an integral part of a high-performing team that delivers best in class software products.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer your responsibilities will be:

Core

Work as part of a cross functional Scrum team that delivers features and solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations.

Participate in Scrum ceremonies such as planning, reviews and retrospectives.

Execute manual and automated testing for feature verification and regression.

Develop automated acceptance test cases.

Contribute to a test suite as part of a CI/CD pipeline to be used by the whole team.

Work with development to create testable, high quality software.

Strategic

Work with QA colleagues to influence quality process improvements.

Grow as a valued team member by increasing your product knowledge and skill set to enhance Lottomart’s product quality.

Contribute to continuous improvement of all aspects of software delivery.

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

You must:

Have a Computer Science Degree, a QA certification or equivalent experience.

Experience

You should:

Have a good level of experience in a QA role, with a strong emphasis on automation.

Be proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts.

Have hands-on experience with mobile testing (Android & iOS).

Have experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.

Have good experience with TypeScript for writing automation scripts.

Be familiar with test automation frameworks such as WebdriverIO, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar, especially for Angular or React applications.

Be comfortable with Git for version control, Linux command line for test execution and scripting, and Docker for test environment setup.

Have experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).

Understand how to write test cases based on user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.

Be familiar with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira.

Have worked within an agile development environment (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and understand the role of QA in Agile ceremonies.

It's a bonus to have:

Experience with mobile automation frameworks like Appium.

Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.

Experience in mocking and stubbing APIs for testing.
