Your mission: own and evolve the test automation ecosystem that keeps us shipping delightful, bug-free experiences every week. You Will Own Designing, building, and maintaining a robust automated end‑to‑end test suite using no-code tools or code like Bugbug, Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks Implementing and managing CI pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI) that run tests on every pull request for continuous quality checks Creating synthetic test scripts that interact with every button, form, and API endpoint to validate functionality at every step Set up automatic notifications and tickets for UI issues and bugs discovered Developing load and performance tests to keep response times below target thresholds Writing clear, actionable bug reports - complete with reproduction steps, logs, and video captures - to ensure engineers can resolve issues quickly Maintaining transparent dashboards that track test coverage and quality KPIs, accessible to all stakeholders Continuously improving test reliability - eliminating flaky tests, optimizing parallelization, and reducing overall run time What Great Looks Like Automated Coverage: Achieve and sustain 90% critical path test coverage within 21 days Fast Feedback: Keep full regression test execution under 10 minutes to enable near‑instant feedback for engineers Bug-Free Releases: Ship weekly without major production bugs Preferred Skills & Experience Bring 2+ years of experience in writing automated UI and API tests using JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript Are proficient with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium - and can explain when and why each is the right fit Understand CI/CD fundamentals and are comfortable fine‑tuning pipeline configurations in YAML See flaky tests as personal challenges and have proven strategies to eliminate them Communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Enjoy documenting edge cases and thinking like a curious end user Prefer automation over repetition, while recognizing the value of focused exploratory testing Our Hiring Process Introductory Call (20 min) - Discuss our culture, expectations, and working style Asynchronous Task - Build and document a small automated test flow for a sample application, using either a testing framework or a no-code automation tool Final Interview (45 min) - A live session with our CPO and CTO That’s all!
