QA Performance Engineering (Testing)

As our Senior QA Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications. You'll work closely with our engineering and product teams to implement effective testing strategies, with a primary focus on automation while maintaining manual testing capabilities. This position requires a balance of technical expertise and strong communication skills to drive quality throughout our development process. Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Cypress for UI, component, and API testing. Perform manual testing activities to ensure comprehensive coverage. Actively contribute to the planning and execution of load, performance, and security testing initiatives. Actively participate in agile ceremonies and provide quality-focused input during planning and refinement. Work with engineering teams to integrate testing into CI/CD workflows. Document testing processes, test plans, and results in JIRA/Confluence. Provide regular updates on testing progress and quality metrics. 5+ years of QA engineering experience with a focus on test automation . • Strong experience with Cypress test automation for UI, component, and API testing. • 3+ years of experience with GraphQL and REST API testing . • Experience contributing to load, performance, and security testing initiatives and understanding their methodologies. • Demonstrated experience building new automation suites from early stages. • Experience testing applications built with modern web frameworks (experience with Ruby and React stacks is a significant plus). • Active contributor in agile development environments. • Experience mentoring or training junior engineers. • Testing Frameworks: Cypress (UI, Component, API testing) Frontend: Experience testing applications built with frameworks like React Testing Types: Automated testing (75%), Manual testing (25%) CI/CD: Experience with automated testing pipelines, preferably Github Actions Project Management: JIRA, Confluence, Atlassian suite Quality Practices: Test automation architecture, contributing to performance testing, contributing to security testing Soft Skills: Strong communication, mentoring, agile methodologies Qualities: Passion for Men’s Health & Development : interest in helping men develop a healthy masculinity.
