QA Manager for .NET and Angular based applications - Full Remote

Category: IT Services Location: Fort Western Province Sri Lanka For an international organization in New York, we are urgently looking for a REMOTE (Senior) QA Manager for .NET and Angular-based applications. The QA Manager should be experienced with a history of working in an agile environment. Candidates must have hands-on experience working with Angular, .NET, MS SQL in teams building large consumer-facing web applications from the ground up. Candidates need to be fluent in English. All positions are long-term. This position is open for freelancers and employees. Candidates need to be able to work normal office hours in New York, US. Example 9 AM NY time equals 7:30 PM Tasks and Responsibilities: • Work within an agile team to ensure the quality of complex .NET and Angular based Web and mobile applications; • Test applications in multilingual setup; • Execute functional test scripts and analyze bugs for systems in development; • Perform manual testing on a variety of browsers and operating systems using manual and with tools like browser stack; • Work closely with developers and DevOps teams to recognize the potential for any operational issues, assess risks, and resolve issues proactively; • Perform load testing using a variety of tools as per industry standards and suggest solutions for performance issues; • Perform API testing using Postman and similar tools; • Record defect details and create reports outlining the types of defects found and the steps taken to resolve them and update the regression test framework; • Maintain knowledgebase documentation in SharePoint; Profile: • Bachelor or Master degree; • 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance for complex web applications; • 5+ years in leading a team of QA with a combination of manual, load, automation, and accessibility testers; • 5+ years in performing manual, security, integration, API, end-to-end, load, automation, mobile application, and accessibility testing; • 5+ years of experience in providing clearance emails for UAT and PROD releases; • 3+ years of experience in leading QA for multilingual applications; • 3+ years of experience using JMeter, BlazeMeter, Browser stack; • Experience in creating and executing scripted test cases; • Experience with Mobile application testing, browser compatibility, and accessibility testing experience; • Experience in identifying, analyzing, documenting, and maintaining test results; • Experience in writing SQL queries (DQL); • Exposure to GitLab, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines; • Good interpersonal skills to work with developers in an agile environment; • Experience with MS Teams and SharePoint documentation is a plus; • ISTQB or similar certification is a plus; • English language proficiency (oral and written); Offered: • A Challenging role for an international organization in New York; • Attractive salary package; Interested: Please send your resume and motivation to [email protected] or call us on +94 114312515 for more information.
