QA Lead

What You’ll Do: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements. Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including regression, performance, and user acceptance testing, to identify and resolve defects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Analyze test results, provide detailed reports to stakeholders, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. Coordinate with developers and product teams to validate functionalities and ensure compliance with requirements/product backlog items. Identify, record, document, and track bugs, and monitor bug resolution efforts. Perform cross-browser, functional, and data validation testing. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright or similar automation frameworks. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality. Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Document processes and other quality assurance activities. Work in an agile environment for quality assurance and releases during 2-week sprints. Investigate production issues referred by users or editorial and support staff and perform scheduled post-release QA validation off-hours during deployments. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers. Who You Are: Minimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Working experience with Defect and Test Management Tools like JIRA and TestRail. Experience with executing manual testing. Experience writing SQL queries and interacting with SQL databases. Hands on experience with automation test tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, JMeter etc. Working experience with GitHub. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
