# Quality Assurance Engineer (Gurgaon/Remote)

Insignia Recruit is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about ensuring the quality of software by designing and implementing tests that will identify issues before they reach production. This role is based in Gurgaon but offers the flexibility to work remotely.

## Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Java and Python.
- Utilize Selenium, WebDriver, Appium, JUnit, and TestNG to create robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks.
- Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) with tools like Cucumber.
- Test SOAP and REST APIs using tools such as Postman.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines are stable and efficient, employing tools like Jenkins.
- Utilize version control systems like Git in a team environment.
- Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver high-quality software on time.
- Manage test suites and test documentation using JIRA.
- Continuously update technical knowledge and skills.

## Essential Skills:

- Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
- Extensive experience with Selenium and BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Solid understanding of SOAP and REST API testing.
- Hands-on experience with Postman.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Git, Agile, and Scrum processes.
- Proficiency with WebDriver, Appium, JUnit, and TestNG.

## Desirable Skills:

- Experience in functional testing.
- Knowledge of regression testing.
- Skills in performance testing.

## Education Level:

- STEM Graduate (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).

## Experience:

- The candidate should have 5 to 9 years of experience in similar roles, ensuring a strong background in QA methodologies and test automation.
