Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through our tracking system.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements and ensure consistent project execution.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Contribute to the development and follow-up of quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
Participate in design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
Solid understanding of SQL and scripting.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject, or equivalent practical experience.
