Role Overview We are looking for a QA Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software . You will play a critical role in the software development lifecycle, owning both manual and automated testing processes to ensure that our products meet performance and usability standards. Key Responsibilities Design and execute manual and automated test cases based on business requirements. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage . Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT , and system testing . Log, track, and validate defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla . Build and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts for various applications. Develop automation frameworks using Selenium , TestNG , or Cypress . Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives . Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools. Monitor software quality metrics and provide feedback to engineering teams. Perform performance/load testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner . Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science , IT , Engineering , or related field. 3 5 years of experience in QA or software testing roles. Strong understanding of QA methodologies , tools, and best practices. Experience with automation tools ( Selenium WebDriver , TestNG , Cypress ). Knowledge of Java , Python , or JavaScript for test scripting. Experience in tools like JIRA , TestRail , GitLab CI , or Jenkins . Familiarity with REST API testing and SQL/database validations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Nice-to-Have Skills Mobile testing experience (iOS/Android). Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber . Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB , CSTE ). Exposure to AWS/Azure , Docker/Kubernetes , security , and accessibility testing.
