QA Engineer

ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the values and vision of the organization Protect the Intellectual PropertyAdhere to all the policies and proceduresDevelop and execute manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and security.Identify, document, and track defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.Design and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test data for both functional and non-functional testing.Implement and optimize automation scripts using frameworks like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress.Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured.Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility.Work with developers to identify and fix bugs and regressions in an Agile environment.Ensure compliance with QA standards, industry best practices, and security protocols.Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment.Prepare and present detailed reports on test progress, coverage, and quality metrics. Essential SkillsJob Experience in manual and automation testing.Passionate about software quality assurance and test automation. Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, including Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, and WebDriver.Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).Proficiency in test scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript).Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).Strong knowledge of bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail).
