QA Data Engineer
Bowhead Specialty is looking for a QA Data Engineer to ensure the accuracy of all business reports and verify the quality of all backend applications. The ideal candidate will have experience working with relational databases, spreadsheets, and business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI. They should also be familiar with the ETL process and can write both manual and automation tests. At times, they will be required to create their own test data and track the information as it moves across all backend systems. This employee will be responsible for understanding the business needs and predicting how feature changes in a release may impact reports across all applications to ensure there are no regression defects.
Requirements:
1.5 + years of experience as a Data Tester or QA Engineer
2. Proficiency in SQL
3. Proficiency in Python
a. Should have experience using Data Science modules such as Pandas
4. Experience testing APIs
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills
6. Excellent math skills
