REQUIREMENT
Position: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Remote (Canada)
Duration: Contract
Mandatory Skills : Automation, Selenium, Cucumber, BDD
Job Description:
ā¢ Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and Automation background is must, get SDET with Java and Selenium
ā¢ Cards functional knowledge is important.
ā¢ Need to understand UAT test cases, execute them manually and then automate.
ā¢ Create readable, maintainable, and reusable test scripts aligned with acceptance criteria.
ā¢ Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
ā¢ Perform code reviews and mentor junior QA automation engineers.
ā¢ Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to identify test scenarios early in the development cycle.
ā¢ Conduct root cause analysis on test failures and raise relevant defects with sufficient documentation.
ā¢ Define and track quality metrics, test coverage, and automation progress.
ā¢ Stay current with industry trends and advocate for continuous improvement in automation processes.
