This mission compliments the Company mission-based culture with focus on gratitude and work-life balance.About the RoleWe are seeking a QA Automation Engineer who combines strong manual testing skills with experience in test automation to help build quality into the software delivery process. This role is ideal for someone who believes quality is a shared team responsibility that starts when requirements are being written. They will contribute to building testing practices that ensure fast, reliable, and continuous delivery of high-quality software.The right candidate will have a shift-left mindset, working closely with product managers, developers, and other QA engineers to identify risks early, improve test coverage, and embed quality into the entire SDLC.ResponsibilitiesExecute high-level manual exploratory testing for new features while simultaneously building out automated test scripts for long-term stabilityDevelop and maintain automated test suites using frameworks such as Playwright or SeleniumParticipate actively in agile ceremonies providing the “QA voice” to keep the team focused on quality deliverables.Collaborate with engineers and product managers to clarify acceptance criteria and testabilityPerform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issuesAnalyze test results, identify bugs, and work closely with developers for timely resolution.Investigate defects, help isolate root causes, and work with engineering teams to ensure resolutionAdvocate for shift-left testing practices and continuous improvement in quality processes.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automationExperience performing both manual and automated testingProficiency with automation tools such as Playwright or SeleniumExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelinesExpertise with at least one programming/scripting languageSolid understanding of agile methodologies with a Shift-Left mindsetExcellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)Experience with BDD (Gherkin, Cucumber)Familiarity with performance or integration testingFamiliarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)Knowledge of API testing toolsBenefitsClassWallet is a positive, family-oriented team environment.
