Job Title: Part-Time QA (Automation & Manual Testing)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Tester with experience in both automation and manual testing to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance processes and methodologies, as well as hands-on experience with testing tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
ā¢ Perform manual testing to identify, document, and track bugs and defects.
ā¢ Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
ā¢ Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
ā¢ Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and functional testing.
ā¢ Ensure the quality and functionality of software applications before release.
ā¢ Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing strategies and best practices.
ā¢ Identify areas for test automation and improve existing test automation scripts.
ā¢ Report and communicate test results and progress to the team.
Requirements:
ā¢ 2-3 years of experience in both automation and manual testing.
ā¢ Proficiency with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
ā¢ Experience with scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
ā¢ Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
ā¢ Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
ā¢ Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
ā¢ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
ā¢ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
ā¢ Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
ā¢ Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins or Travis CI.
ā¢ Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
ā¢ Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
ā¢ Experience testing web and mobile applications.
