About the position
Focus Capital is seeking a talented Software Engineer with a strong background in Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Data Science technologies to support its health technology division. In this role, you will collaborate closely with top data scientists and machine learning engineers to prototype and build end-to-end code and full-scale applications that leverage ML tools for deployment. Your primary responsibility will be to develop new tools and software that enhance the business's ability to harness data and analytics capabilities, including the deployment of new machine learning models. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply cutting-edge concepts in data science, ML, and AI, such as Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM), to innovative applications utilized within a Fortune 500 company. Requirements
• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering using Python technologies.

• Professional experience with Spark and/or PySpark.

• Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as GPT or BERT is a plus.

• Experience in building data pipelines for AI model deployment.

• Experience in an Azure ecosystem is a plus.

• Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization.

• Excellent communication skills and project management experience.

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, mathematics, or another technical degree is required.
