Software Engineer
Type:
Contract
Compensation:
$40ā$50/hour
Role Responsibilities
ā¢ Develop MCP servers using Python and FastMCP to enhance the RL Studio platform.
ā¢ Integrate web or desktop applications into RL Studio for seamless operation.
ā¢ Work with APIs, Docker, and Linux environments to ensure robust service configuration.
ā¢ Implement hooks for app state management to maintain app stability and testability.
ā¢ Test applications locally and debug build, runtime, and permission issues to meet platform standards.
ā¢ Ensure apps comply with platform validation and deployment requirements for production readiness.
Qualifications
Must-Have
ā¢ Strong Python skills.
ā¢ Experience with APIs, backend systems, and debugging.
ā¢ Familiarity with Docker, Linux, and local testing workflows.
ā¢ Ability to work with configuration files and deployment pipelines.
ā¢ Problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail.
Preferred
ā¢ Experience with FastMCP or similar frameworks.
ā¢ Experience integrating third-party apps or developer tools.
ā¢ Familiarity with web apps, databases, and containerized environments.
