PVE Systems Integration Engineer I

The PVE Systems Integration Engineer I will focus on validating feature content for transmissions and aftertreatments across various vehicle platforms, including writing test cases and performing root cause analysis during vehicle testing. Responsibilities Perform vehicle integration validation for vehicle software features Write and execute test cases and report on issues found during vehicle testing Document issues in JIRA and track them along with design counterparts to closure Participate in ongoing continuous improvement activities within the vehicle integration test department Perform troubleshooting activities during vehicle preparation phase to ensure our test platforms are ready for validation Skills Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Computer Engineering Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks on hand Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to create an overview of testing required and present as a plan Ability to develop conclusions from validation of features, report results and track issues Ability to work with vehicle based measurement systems and logging devices Ability to obtain a commercial driver's license Previous experience with CANalyzer or other CAN based tools Previous vehicle development or validation experience and knowledge of automotive systems Benefits Annual bonus program 401k company contribution with company match up to 6% as well as non-elective company contribution of 3 - 7% depending on age Starting at 4 weeks paid vacation 13+ calendar holidays 8 weeks paid parental leave Employee assistance program Comprehensive healthcare plans and wellness programs Onsite fitness (at some locations) Tuition assistance Volunteer paid time off Short-term and long-term disability plans Company Overview Daimler Truck North America, a Daimler Truck AG company, is the largest heavy-duty truck manufacturer in North America and a leading producer of medium-duty trucks and specialized commercial vehicles.
