Primary Job Duties:As a Purchasing Agent, you will work closely with assigned maintenance bases to ensure they have the parts needed for a successful operation.
Purchase parts for maintenance bases
Responsible for aircraft on ground (AOG) and critical purchases
Evaluate costs for consumable inventory
Maintain accurate purchase file
Communicate with bases and vendors
Monitor and expedite orders
Minimum Requirements:*No previous airline experience needed*We are looking for individuals with an interest in the airline industry who have the following traits -
Self-motivated
Good communication and people skills
Good computer skills, Microsoft Word & Excel
Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team
Job knowledge is gained through on the job training.
Physical and Other Requirements:
Schedule Monday-Friday
Either 4-10's or 5-8's available for FT
Must live near or be willing to relocate to St. George, UT (no remote work opportunities available for this position)
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time at a computer and perform repetitive computer functions.
This is not a Department of Transportation Safety-sensitive position.
