As our first Public Relations hire you would take ownership of building, leading, and scaling our Public Relations efforts to achieve earned media in reputable publications. Responsibilities • Develop public relations strategy. • Execute on public relations strategy. • Allocate public relations budget between agencies, freelancers, and internal hires. • Write press releases. • Perform direct media outreach and develop relationships with key journalists, editors, and bloggers. • Work internally with other teams in the company to uncover and create newsworthy stories. • 5 years in B2B public relations, ideally in SaaS or technology companies. • Experience working in or with rapidly growing small companies. • Proven success in achieving high-quality press coverage. • Ability to regularly work during US business hours. • Willing to wear many hats and adapt as the company grows. • Experience in industries related to SEO, AI, or search engines in general would be a plus.
