JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Health department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic Health Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion and the use of the classroom/lab experience to enhance workplace understanding and performance.
Teach with excellence a full range of health coursework online/remote depending on need each quarter: HLTH 1050, HLTH 1510, HLTH 1520, HLTH 1530, HLTH 1540, HLTH 1550. HLTH 1560, HLTH 2900, HLTH 2960. Instructors will be responsible for course content, creation, instruction, and grading.
Bachelor’s degree in the discipline or in a related discipline and two years full-time
related occupational experience. Current CPR certification and comply with recommended
immunizations and drug testing for clinical participation required.
This position requires local residency in Omaha Metro area.
Compensation: $580 per Equivalent Credit Hours (ECH)
May include day, evening and/or weekend classes and will involve travel to other campuses.
A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process.
Hiring process includes passing a background check.
