Psychiatrist Medical Director - Telehealth Addiction & Mental Health Care - Remote, Full-Time

Affect is reimagining behavioral health care through a fully virtual, evidence-based program that combines mobile technology with counseling and medical services. Our digital-first approach makes treatment more accessible, more responsive, and more effective for individuals living with mental health conditions.

We’re seeking compassionate, collaborative Psychiatrists to support our experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) by providing virtual oversight and clinical partnership.

This is a contract part-time, fully remote position ideal for psychiatrists who are passionate about transforming mental health and addiction medicine care.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with PMHNPs licensed in states where Affect operates by holding monthly supervision meetings
• Review member records and support medication management decisions as needed
• Provide guidance on complex cases and prescribing decisions
• Ensure documentation and oversight practices meet state-specific requirements for collaboration, with a minimum of 5 charts reviewed per month (or more if required by the state)
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to Affect’s security protocols

Requirements:
• Active medical license with a completed psychiatric residency
• Strong comfort with telehealth technology and electronic medical records
• Commitment to empathetic, high-quality care for individuals managing mental health challenges
