Psychiatric Medical Scribe / Documentation Specialist (Part-Time, Remote, 1099)

Advanced Care Consultants is hiring experienced psychiatric medical scribes to complete post-encounter documentation for PMHNPs. This is not transcription and not entry-level scribing. What You’ll Do • Complete psych progress notes after the visit using provider notes & AI dictation (Freed AI) • Pull chart data from PointClickCare (meds, vitals, history) • Enter documentation directly into Tebra/Kareo • Build full psych notes: HPI, MSE, Psych ROS, meds, DSM-5, risk, A/P • Finish all notes within 24 hours Must-Have Experience • Psychiatric medical scribe or psych documentation specialist (required) • 200+ psychiatric encounters documented • Strong psych terminology & MSE knowledge • Experience with PointClickCare and Tebra/Kareo • Ability to pre-chart from SNF/LTC EHRs • Can work independently with no training needed Requirements • Remote workstation & reliable internet • Ability to navigate multiple EHRs • 24-hour turnaround on assigned notes Compensation • $15/hour • Part-time • 1099 contractor Please Do NOT Apply If • You have only done medical transcription • You have never documented psychiatric encounters • You need training to learn psychiatric workflows • You have not used PCC or Tebra To Apply Complete the screener questions. Qualified candidates will be asked to complete a brief psychiatric documentation skills test to confirm competency with MSEs, psych terminology, and EHR-style note structure. Do you have experience documenting inside EHR templates? • Do you have reliable internet access and a computer suitable for remote EHR work? • Have you previously worked as a psychiatric medical scribe or psychiatric documentation specialist? (NOT transcription) • Are you experienced in completing psychiatric progress notes (MSE, HPI, psych ROS, A/P, DSM-5, risk) based on provider notes or dictation? • Are you experienced in pre-charting for psychiatric encounters, including pulling clinical history, meds, vitals, and prior notes from PointClickCare or another SNF EHR? • How many psychiatric encounters have you documented (not transcribed)? • Which EHRs have you actively documented psychiatric notes in?
