The Provider Scheduler at Johns Hopkins Medicine is a pivotal role responsible for managing and coordinating a variety of department projects, activities, reports, and schedules. This position involves the collection and management of data for ongoing projects, ensuring that operations run efficiently and effectively. The individual in this role will develop office procedures that facilitate timely operations and provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the office or program. In this role, the Provider Scheduler will collect and organize specified data from various sources, which may include departmental heads, subject matter experts, and budgetary documentation. The ability to analyze this data is crucial, as the Scheduler will identify potential strategies and offer suggestions to resolve issues that arise from the data analysis. The position also entails performing clerical duties such as typing, filing, and completing simple forms, which are essential for maintaining organized records and documentation. Additionally, the Provider Scheduler will operate standard office machines, including copiers, scanners, and personal computers, and may serve as the receptionist for the office. This includes greeting visitors and applicants, answering phones, directing calls to appropriate individuals, and preparing messages. The work hours are casual, typically from 5 PM to 7 PM during the week, with flexibility and the possibility of weekend work as needed.

Requirements
