Provider Contract Specialist
Position: Provider Contract Specialist
Client: Health Insurance Client
Length: 5-month Contract
Location: 100% Remote (EST Hours)
Start Date: July 6, 2026
Job Description:
These resources will support a major operational initiative tied to the implementation of a new contract management system (Symplr). These resources will play a key role in reducing provider backlog and supporting contracting efforts, particularly within behavioral health.
This is a highly administrative, process-driven role best suited for candidates who are comfortable with data entry, documentation validation, and structured workflows rather than high-level contract strategy or negotiation.
• Support provider enrollment, credentialing, and contracting workflows using the Symplr platform
• Validate and manage provider documentation (W-9s, credentialing materials, compliance records)
• Generate contracts within the contract management system (CMS)
• Perform high-volume data entry and administrative tasks with accuracy
• Assist with linking provider records and maintaining data integrity across systems
• Conduct provider outreach to support onboarding and contracting initiatives
• Help reduce a significant provider backlog, with strong emphasis on behavioral health
• Support a larger initiative involving outreach to hundreds of providers
Skill Set Requirements:
• Provider enrollment, credentialing, contracting, or healthcare operations
• Payer environment preferred, open to provider-side experience
• Data entry and administrative skillset
• Attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive, process-driven work
• Contract generation and basic redlining (minimal)
Nice to Haves:
• Familiarity with Symplr or similar contract/enrollment systems
• Experience supporting behavioral health providers or contracts
• Understanding of provider lifecycle processes (credentialing → enrollment → contracting)
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
