We are seeking a skilled Data Visualization Engineer to join our team and support analytics and reporting initiatives using a modern Microsoft-based data stack. This role focuses on building clear, scalable, and business-focused dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, SQL, and Python, helping stakeholders turn data into actionable insights.



Role & Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

Translate business requirements into clear and effective visualization solutions.

Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, and datasets to support reporting and analytics needs.

Work with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with reporting requirements.

Create and maintain reusable reporting models, KPIs, and metrics definitions.

Support data preparation, transformation, and validation using SQL, Python, and Power BI tools.

Optimize dashboard performance, usability, and data refresh reliability.

Contribute to reporting standards, documentation, and visualization best practices.

Help ensure consistent, high-quality reporting across teams and business functions.

Support continuous improvement of analytics and visualization processes.

Hard Skills - Must have:
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI dashboard and report development.

Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and validating data.

Experience building reporting datasets, semantic models, or data models for analytics.

Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, or data preparation tasks.

Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.

Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.

Ability to work with large datasets and transform business questions into actionable visual insights

Hard Skills - Nice to have/It's a plus:

Experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or other Microsoft analytics platform tools.

Experience with DAX, Power Query, and performance tuning in Power BI.

Familiarity with data modeling concepts for BI and reporting.

Experience working closely with data engineering teams in Azure-based environments.

Exposure to governance, security, and access management for reporting solutions.

Experience in consulting environments and working with distributed teams.
