Proofreading Specialist

Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed redlining of documents with precision. • Edit, revise, update, and insert document content and data, including text, elements, and tables. • Ensure titles, headers, footers, and the logical flow or sequence of text in documents are accurate. • Utilize appropriate language tools to verify correct terminology, language use, and formatting, especially in multilingual contexts, without discrimination. • Edit documents to correct formatting issues and ensure compliance with established formatting standards. • Ensure consistency between revised document versions and original versions, identifying and tracking discrepancies or errors in layout, structure, headers, and content. • Participate in peer reviews and final Quality Assurance processes to ensure documents are ready for release. • Manage multiple priorities and shift between tasks efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy. • Maintain ongoing communication and responsiveness with project managers and team members via messaging tools and email during standard work hours. • Execute assignments accurately and timely to meet assigned deadlines. • Manage workloads to align with project timelines and team expectations. • Review assignment instructions thoroughly and proactively seek clarification to ensure understanding and execute assignments accurately.
