Job Title Proofreader Location Remote (U.S.-based) Duration 06/08/2026 10/31/2026 Schedule Part-time (20 hours/week) Pay Rate $30.00/hr Monday Friday 1200 PM 400 PM EST or 100 PM 500 PM EST Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Proofreader to review and refine written and electronic communications for accuracy, clarity, and consistency. This role requires strong grammar skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities • Review and correct written and electronic communications for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors • Compare typeset drafts to original documents to ensure accuracy and completeness • Ensure content adheres to client-specific style guides and standards • Evaluate text for clarity, readability, and consistency • Verify all edits and revisions are completed before final submission • Annotate documents using tools such as Adobe Acrobat and/or Microsoft Word • Collaborate with team members and facilitate document reviews using internal tools (e.g., TFS) • Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards Required Qualifications • Strong command of English grammar, syntax, and punctuation • Proven experience in proofreading, editing, or a similar role • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and/or Adobe Acrobat for document markup • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment Apply To this Job Apply To this Job Apply To This Job
