Join the Worldwide Safety Assurance team at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, where creativity and innovation come together to create unforgettable experiences! We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Specialist to play a key role in driving safety and reducing risk within our organization. As a Project Specialist, you will be responsible for project planning, video analytics, data analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver projects that make a real impact.
This is a unique opportunity to work on a project basis, with a estimated end date of 9/27/2025, and be part of a team that prioritizes safety and excellence. You will report to the Team Leader, Video Analytics, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of video analytics projects.
About the Role:

Assist with project planning and execution, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies
Implement video analytics solutions, including installation and configuration of hardware and software components
Conduct data analysis and provide insights to improve operational efficiency and decision-making
Collaborate with stakeholders, including audio/visual, engineering services, operations, and security teams

Requirements:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to provide guidance and feedback to encourage achieving team and project goals
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shifts
Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Familiarity with machine learning concepts, API, and IoT integrated systems
Smartsheet expertise

What We Offer:

Competitive salary range: $71,000.00-$95,100.00 per year
