Position Summary

We are seeking a technically strong and experienced Land Development Project Manager with 10+ years of hands-on experience in land development. This is a leadership role based in our Wall, New Jersey office, requiring a New Jersey PE license and the ability to manage complex projects from due diligence through construction. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical proficiency with project leadership, staff mentoring, and client / stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities
• Manage land development projects across a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, industrial, warehousing, retail, and public infrastructure.
• Maintain detailed oversight of project schedules, budgets, staffing, and financial performance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants and regulatory agencies.
• Provide professional testimony at Planning and Zoning Board meetings and public forums.
• Oversee project delivery from feasibility through construction administration.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Direct production of engineering plans, reports, and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subconsultants, and jurisdictional agencies.
• Act as the technical design lead for all phases of site development: layout, grading, stormwater systems, utilities, and erosion control.
• Resolve engineering challenges and ensure technical accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
• Guide projects through New Jersey’s regulatory review and permitting process.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews to uphold design standards and compliance throughout the project stages.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to business development through proposal writing and opportunity pursuit.
• Interaction with contractors and clients and project oversight during construction.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Active NJ Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in land development and public infrastructure projects.
• Expertise in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrology, grading, and site design using industry-standard software.
• Strong command of New Jersey municipal, county, and state planning/zoning regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrology/hydraulic modeling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skilled in project financial management, scheduling, and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and public presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
