Project Manager/Business Analyst

The Project Manager / Business Analyst serves as a bridge between business units and IT, supporting project management and business analysis activities to enhance processes and ensure successful project execution.ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning, organization, and execution of projects from inception to completionAssist in managing project schedules, tracking deliverables, and reporting status to managementHelp ensure projects stay on track and within budget, escalating issues as neededContribute to the consistent application of project management methodologies, tools, and documentationParticipate in quality improvement efforts and lessons learned sessionsCoordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goalsWork with end users and managers to evaluate business processes and software, identifying areas for improvementGather and analyze data to develop recommendations for system and process enhancementsTranslate complex technical findings into simplified terms for presentation to stakeholdersAssist with planning, testing, and implementing system upgrades and enhancementsDocument workflows, software configurations, and process changesEnsure business systems adhere to information security, risk, and compliance standardsCollaborate with IT, data analysts, and vendors to resolve issues and implement approved changesParticipate in meetings and project groups, providing status updates on ongoing tasksMaintain effective interpersonal relationships with staff and management across departmentsSupport the creation of training programs and documented procedures for project teamsPursue professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledgeSkillsBachelor's degree (preferably in a technical or business field) or equivalent experience1–3 years of relevant experience in project management, business analysis, training, or related roles (internships or coursework may count)Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.)Experience in data analysis and statistical tools is a plusBanking or financial institution experience preferred but not requiredCompany OverviewFor over 100 years, Peoples Bank has maintained a philosophy of commitment to the customer, a belief that has allowed Peoples Bank to thrive and continue to serve the people of Northwest Indiana.
