Project Manager / Sr. Project Manager – Utility-Scale Solar (PV) & Energy Storage (BESS)

Position Summary
CrestCura is seeking an experienced Project Manager to serve as the primary point of leadership for client-facing utility-scale PV and BESS projects or portfolios. This role is responsible for driving project execution, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery from development through commissioning and closeout.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in renewable energy project delivery, strong client management skills, and the ability to operate as a trusted advisor across technical and commercial domains.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary Project Manager representing CrestCura on assigned PV and/or BESS projects or portfolios
• Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout activities across all project phases
• Act as the central point of coordination between clients, developers, EPCs, OEMs, consultants, and other stakeholders
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
• Provide strategic guidance and technical oversight on PV and BESS system design, procurement, construction, and commissioning
• Identify and mitigate project risks, including technical, contractual, and commercial issues
• Support contract negotiations and review key project agreements (EPC, supply, O&M, interconnection, etc.)
• Develop and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates to clients
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of CrestCura’s project management methodologies and best practices
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience managing utility-scale solar PV and/or BESS projects
• Proven track record managing projects through development, engineering, construction, and commissioning phases
• Strong understanding of PV and BESS technologies, including system design, performance, and key OEMs
• Experience working with EPC contracts, project finance stakeholders, and owner’s engineer functions
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., scheduling, risk management, cost control)
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects or a portfolio in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
• PMP certification, PE license, or other advanced degree
• Experience with an IPP, Utility, or EPC in a Project Management role
• Familiarity with grid interconnection processes and utility coordination
• Experience in an advisory, owner’s engineer, or consulting role
