Project Manager Solar EPC

Senior Vice President – Samuel Knight USA Travel-based role, remote; projects are typically in Southern and Eastern States. Samuel Knight Energy is the leading utility‑scale EPC recruitment company in the country, with more opportunities in Solar & BESS construction than anyone else. We work with top‑tier contractors who are reshaping the energy landscape—and right now, we’re hiring experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to lead major solar construction sites across the Southeast and beyond. Our client is a rapidly growing EPC with a strong pipeline of utility‑scale solar projects, typically ranging from 80 MW to 250 MW. They are seeking both Senior PMs and PMs to help execute work on time, on budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. • Senior Project Managers: Travel every other week (biweekly rotation). • Project Managers: Travel 3 weeks per month, with 1 week off‑site. Responsibilities • Lead utility‑scale solar projects from NTP to COD. • Manage cost, schedule, quality, safety, and risk across all scopes. • Coordinate with Superintendents, Engineers, Owners, and Subcontractors. • Track progress versus production goals and report to executive leadership. • Resolve field issues promptly and maintain high-performance culture. • Own project logistics, manpower planning, and material delivery coordination. • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to maintain accountability. Requirements • Prior experience managing utility‑scale solar projects (50MW+). • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, scopes, and sequencing. • Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and self‑perform crews. • Exceptional communication and problem‑solving skills. • Proficiency with scheduling tools, progress reporting, and project documentation. • OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification preferred.
