Powering Continuous Improvement Through Operational Excellence!

MEPPI�s Service Center Division (SCD) is seeking a results-driven Operational Excellence Project Manager to lead initiatives that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness across the Division. In this role, you will identify improvement opportunities, develop and execute strategic improvement plans, and lead cross-functional teams to drive sustainable operational excellence.




What You�ll Do

Drive Operational Excellence Strategy: Partner with Division leadership to develop and implement operational excellence strategies that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and performance.

Identify & Analyze Improvement Opportunities: Conduct analyses and investigations to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities; develop practical, data-driven solutions.

Lead Cross-Functional Projects: Lead and manage cross-functional teams�including internal resources and external consultants�on process improvement projects, special initiatives, and cross-divisional efforts.

Implement Continuous Improvement Methods: Identify, propose, and deploy process improvement initiatives using established methodologies and tools.

Develop & Monitor KPIs: Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success of improvement initiatives.

Document & Train: Create process documentation, develop training materials, and provide training and ongoing support to employees on new processes and best practices.

Report Progress & Outcomes: Prepare and present reports and presentations outlining the status, impact, and outcomes of process improvement and change management initiatives.

Facilitate Continuous Improvement Teams: Lead continuous improvement teams to promote collaboration, information sharing, problem-solving, and operational learning.

Manage Multiple Projects: Oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while embedding operational excellence standards.

Enhance Business Performance Visibility: Develop a structured approach to consolidating business data to improve visibility, enable decision-making, and drive continuous improvement actions.

Promote Division Excellence: Further the goals and professional image of SCD through effective and timely collaboration with outside contacts and other MEPPI divisions.




What You Bring

Education & Experience:


Bachelor�s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and leading operational excellence or continuous improvement initiatives
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience


Methodologies & Technical Expertise:


Formal training and hands-on experience with project management methodologies (PMP)
Experience with continuous improvement frameworks including Lean/JIT, 5S, KATA, Six Sigma
Working knowledge of DMAIC, SIPOC, VOC, process mapping, and value stream mapping (VSM)


Skills & Attributes:


Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change


Technology Proficiency:


Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office
Experience with service management and process improvement software tools
