About the position
As a Project Manager (Non-IT) at SPECTRAFORCE, you will be responsible for planning and managing one or several projects that vary in complexity, priority, and risk. These projects will focus on the design and development of business solutions that may span across multiple departments and rely on new technologies. You will be tasked with managing large capital budgets and ensuring that the projects significantly impact the Information Technology infrastructure. Your role is critical in maintaining market share and shareholder confidence while delivering cost-effective and architecturally compatible solutions. In this position, you will facilitate collaboration among cross-functional and cross-organizational team members in a matrix-managed environment. Your responsibilities will include project communications, schedule and financial management, issue and risk tracking, and change management activities. You will apply your business and technical knowledge to initiate corrective actions as necessary, ensuring that all deliverables are produced on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. You will be expected to leverage your wide-ranging experience to creatively and effectively resolve complex issues, using professional concepts and company objectives. The role requires you to work independently, with guidance only in the most complex situations, and to determine methods and procedures for new assignments. You may also provide guidance to other personnel as needed. A college degree is preferred, along with a minimum of 8 years of related experience, and additional certifications may be desirable at this level.
