Project Manager - entry level

About the position ReNuke Services is seeking a Project Manager for our client"s site in Raleigh, NC DESCRIPTION: CW can be based out of North Carolina Regional Headquarters (Raleigh, NC), Roxboro Station (Semora, NC), or Mayo Station (Roxboro, NC). Projects will be assigned at any of these station locations. Full time, hybrid. There could be occasional travel to the stations for meetings with project managers, walk down items, etc. The Project Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the Project Management team. This position will assist multiple project managers in successfully managing projects including providing administrative support, material planning, logistics, purchasing support and outage support. DNJP22249 - PROJECT MANAGER (entry level) - RALEIGH, NC - 12 MONTHS Responsibilities • Support Project Management team in: • Preparation and maintenance of project budgets • Assist with contractor bid packages. • Assist with managing purchase orders. • Arrange meetings with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors. • Use business software applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, NERC/environmental checklists, risk registers, agendas, minutes, etc. • Implement project setup in both our accounting and project management software. • Generate financial reports and assist with monthly forecasting. • Gather required approvals for invoices for processing through the A/P. • Assist with configuration management and project closeout in our ACT software. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience. • 2 year degree. • Demonstrated knowledge of basic project management principles. • Project related work/school experience • Demonstrated to Working Knowledge in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving • Collaborative Team Member. Nice-to-haves • Graduation from a four-year college or university. • Utility Technical Certifications/Training or PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification; CMII certificates. • Demonstrated to Working knowledge in project related Scheduling / Cost Controls. • The Project Management Specialist may have relationships with individuals in various organizations ranging from individual contributors to Department Leadership (i.e. individual contributors up to senior department management).Apply Now
