What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Review project specifications and prepare detailed project costing
Develop comprehensive proposals based on project scope and customer requirements
Conduct site visits to understand project scope and site challenges
Perform risk analysis and build relationships with key vendors
Manage project scope, cost, and schedule in conjunction with site lead
What Is Required (Qualifications)
BSc/BA in engineering, construction science, or a relevant discipline
Minimum of five years of proven experience as an estimator or in a similar position
Familiarity with financial and project management principles
In-depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas
Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) will be an asset
Excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset
Ability to manage relationships with key persons effectively
