Project Manager Position Description
As a Project Manager for our Life Sciences and Healthcare Generative AI Program, you will play a vital role in providing structure, organizational support and clarity in a dynamic and evolving LLM program. Supporting the Program Manager, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the smooth execution of project activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. You will collaborate closely with internal IT teams and stakeholders across the Research organization to drive project success, manage expectations, and maintain effective communication. This role requires a keen ability to thrive in ambiguity, adaptability to changing priorities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Project Manager role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Experience in a client-facing consulting role working with clients in the pharma or biotech sector are also encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated track record of successfully coordinating projects, managing stakeholders, and driving project milestones to completion.
Proven ability to excel in ambiguous environments, navigating complexity, and maintaining focus on project objectives.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies and tools is advantageous.
Experience with Large Language Models and Generative AI models is a plus.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
Superior stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in creating advanced PowerPoint presentations, including data visualization and storytelling, to effectively communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations.
Strong facilitation skills, capable of leading meetings, workshops, and discussions to drive collaboration, decision-making, and consensus among stakeholders.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Confluence or Jira, is desirable.
This is a 6-month contract role that can be performed either on-site or remotely, some travel may be required depending on business needs.
