Project Finance Analyst or Sr. Project Finance Analyst [Hybrid]

They are seeking a Project Finance Analyst or Senior Project Finance Analyst to focus on financial modeling, data analysis, and due diligence support for mergers, acquisitions, and project financing transactions. Responsibilities Supports cross-functional transaction teams (Development, Finance, Legal, Engineering, Procurement) to ensure efficient and timely execution of M&A and project finance transactions Assists in structuring term sheets and supporting MIPA/PSA negotiations, as well as financing agreements Assists the entire due diligence process for potential project finance transactions, covering financial, developmental and operational, legal, technological, and other relevant areas Supports financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and risk analysis for Project Finance transactions Assists in structuring, negotiating, and executing debt and tax equity financing arrangements with lenders and investors, supporting credit approvals and closing processes Identifies and researches project finance opportunities across solar, wind, and storage Monitors industry trends, regulatory developments, and Project Financing activity to inform strategic positioning and provide insights to internal stakeholders Assists Project finance memos and executive presentations to obtain approvals from internal Investment Committees and Executive leadership Supports handover of Project Financed projects or portfolios to internal teams, including knowledge transfer, commercial obligations, and documentation Helps optimize M&A and Project Finance tracking systems, templates, dashboards, and databases to increase team efficiency and transparency Skills Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or similar 1 year of professional industry experience Strong quantitative and research background Advanced Excel user Excellent communications skills Demonstrated capacity for analytical thinking and presentation development Ability to work well independently and build relationships with other departments and segments to accomplish objectives Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive approach Proficiency in PowerPoint Effective time management skills 4 years of professional industry experience for Senior Project Finance Analyst Min. 1 year of experience preferred in renewable energy, energy infrastructure, or transaction/finance for Senior Project Finance Analyst Knowledge of debt structures, tax benefit monetization and partnership taxation for Senior Project Finance Analyst Strong quantitative and research background for Senior Project Finance Analyst Advanced Excel user for Senior Project Finance Analyst Excellent communications skills for Senior Project Finance Analyst Experience in Python or VBA for Senior Project Finance Analyst Experience in EIA, ABB, Ventyx, SNL, SEIA / AWEA databases for Senior Project Finance Analyst Experience in presentation software such as Tableau and dashboard development for Senior Project Finance Analyst Demonstrated capacity for analytical thinking and presentation development for Senior Project Finance Analyst Ability to work well independently and build relationships with other departments and segments to accomplish objectives for Senior Project Finance Analyst Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive approach for Senior Project Finance Analyst Proficiency in PowerPoint for Senior Project Finance Analyst Effective time management skills for Senior Project Finance Analyst Master's degree 1 year of experience preferred in renewable energy, energy infrastructure, or transaction/finance Knowledge of debt structures, tax benefit monetization and partnership taxation Experience in Python or VBA Experience in EIA, ABB, Ventyx, SNL, SEIA / AWEA databases Experience in presentation software such as Tableau and dashboard development Proficiency in Spanish or French Benefits Competitive bonus incentives.
