Project Estimator - Structured Cabling
The ideal candidate will be based out of our NYC Office but we're open to having someone in our other regional offices such as Washington DC, Miami, or Boston.

TRITECH is currently looking for someone to join our Low Voltage Division as a Project Estimator. This individual will work with Operations/Business Development in the review of project plans, requirements, and specifications. Additionally, you play an integral part in being awarded projects to ensure projects are priced accurately, thoroughly, and in conjunction with the Design Team plans.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for surveying bid packages to obtain information on the system environment prior to bid finalization Work with Design Engineers to determine system layout.
• Accurately develops proposal to include appropriate amount of job-related labor to perform the project and cost for materials/equipment.
• Assist in creating change orders by using company designated change order form.
• Compare competitive bids and adjust accordingly working with the Estimating Manager.
• Other duties as required or assigned by company management.
• Track project costs against the initial budget and forecasts to ensure financial control.
What Will Make You Successful:
• 3+ Years of Experience as a Project Estimator.
• Preferred experience in Structured Cabling/Low Voltage Industry
• Ability to analyze data, identify cost drivers, and make informed judgements.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to clearly present complex cost information.
