Title:
Project Engineer

Responsible for technical/operational leadership of a project/design team within the programmatic guidelines set by the program manager and customer. Defines, generates, and reviews project requirements documentation. Monitors site team to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained. Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received. Incumbents have experience as engineer (mechanical or process discipline preferred). Requires depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Will mentor/run multi-discipline site design team. Interprets internal/external customer challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services based on industry knowledge. Has expertise in industry standards and engineering requirements, advises colleagues on interpretation of standards within the context of Group's contract objectives. Capable of providing direction to multi-disciplinary design team while monitoring scope, schedule, and budget adherence. Experience with Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs) and working knowledge of Microsoft Project.

Job Qualifications:
β€’ Undergraduate degree in Engineering.
β€’ A minimum of five (5) years related experience, with average experience of 7-10 years.
β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to function within a project team.
β€’ Will comply with all KBR and site safety policies and procedures.
β€’ Willingness to travel to project sites, if necessary.

β€’ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
β€’ Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing project challenges.
β€’ Attention to detail and the ability to ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.
β€’ Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
β€’ Proficiency in using standard office software like Microsoft Office Suite.
