Project Development Intern

Join Aspen Power as a Project Development Intern to gain hands-on experience in solar energy development.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:
• Assist in the collection, organization, and entry of metadata related to Real Estate, Permitting, Incentive Awards, and Diligence Studies.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of internal databases by building and updating profiles for Utilities, Jurisdictions, and Incentive Programs.
• Aid in the preparation of due diligence materials by gathering project asset documentation and ensuring accurate placement within internal datarooms.
• Collaborate with the Aspen Summer Intern cohort on a final project, culminating in a formal presentation to company leadership.

About You:

The ideal candidate must possess:
• Passion for the renewable energy business and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant academic background or equivalent practical experience.
• Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• High reliability and dependability.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 including Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation ranges from $25 per hour for undergraduate students to $45 per hour for graduate students. The position is based in New York, NY, with a hybrid work model.

Training & Development:

Interns will gain hands-on experience in solar energy development and collaborate on a final project with the Aspen Summer Intern cohort.
