Project Designer

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a talented and motivated Designer to join their team. The role involves collaborating with internal teams, brokers, project managers, and clients to develop and implement design solutions, as well as creating documents, drawings, and diagrams to meet all requirements.ResponsibilitiesFormulate preliminary space plans that integrate the client’s needsDevelop preliminary plans and detailed design drawings using RevitConfirm preliminary space plans and design concepts are safe, functional, aesthetically appropriate, and meet all applicable code requirementsCoordinate with various teams to ensure final outcome of design meet functional requirements of designAttend project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholdersTrack high volume projects progress and identify potential issues or challengesProvide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries and addressing their needs promptly and professionallyDevelop strong relationships with clients to build trust and foster long-term partnershipsSkillsBachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a CIDA accredited institution (NCIDQ a plus)1+ years of relevant work experienceProficiency in REVITUnderstand and manage: phasing, design options, schedulesAbility to read and review construction documents; provide technical sign-off/approvalUnderstanding of the technical aspects of design/construction such as low voltage, construction materials, design concepts/budgets, constructability, electrical and HVAC systemsUnderstanding of building codes and ADA standardsVersed in the five phases of an interior/architectural projectExcellent internal and external customer service skillsEffective interpersonal skills and problem solving abilityStrong Microsoft Office skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneouslyBenefitsHealth, vision, and dental insuranceFlexible spending accountsHealth savings accountsRetirement savings plansLife, and disability insurance programsPaid and unpaid time away from workCompany OverviewCushman & Wakefield is a real estate services firm that offers retail investment, energy management, and property services.
