Project Coordinator

AtkinsRéalis is a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization, and they are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the delivery of transmission and substation projects for major utility clients. The role involves assisting the Project Manager and coordinating with technical leads, project schedulers, and cost controllers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities Assist in the successful delivery of the project to agreed targets, e.g., schedule, budget, and quality Assist the Project Manager in actively managing the project – both technically and financially, in accordance with corporate and business policies, directives, guidance and procedures Supporting communication, coordination, and information flow with the Client and within the project team, including any subcontractors and partners (internal and external) Supporting compilation of all technical documentation required for the execution of the project (Technical studies, Design basis, Conceptual designs, Detailed designs, technical specifications, Field work, Tender Phase services, Construction Phase Services and Record drawings) Skills A background working within an engineering environment in a project coordination / project management related role Understanding engineering principles, practices and the flow of design in project management Understanding of project financial workings with knowledge of all project management fundamentals Excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skills A degree in Civil, Electrical engineering or related field is an asset PMP designation is an asset Benefits Competitive compensation Employee recognition Flexible benefits Diverse opportunities for training and professional development Hybrid working culture Generous time-off policies Company Overview AtkinsRéalis is a global firm offering engineering project management, and design solutions across infrastructure and energy sectors.
