We’d like to meet you!Job Description:The Project Coordinator provides project management support across assigned project teams. This individual is primarily responsible for improving the efficiency of internal project core teams by providing administrative assistance, performing basic project management tasks, and managing project management systems. The goal for this individual is to progress into a position of Project Manager, with independent ownership of project management responsibilities for an assigned client account.Job DutiesProject Planning and TrackingOpen new projects in management system and set up new project templates on serverAssist with development and updating of project plans and timelinesAssist with development and maintenance of weekly and daily internal and client status reportsRoute documents and next-step directions to team in a timely mannerCommunicate progress of project deliverables and assist in problem-solving to meet deadlinesAssist in maintaining electronic filing system and records for all projectsAssist in managing and executing upload of projects into client electronic review and approval systemVarious additional administrative tasksFinancial Management and TrackingEnter and maintain project budgets and billing schedules in company financial systemEvaluate project progress against contracted billing schedules and initiate AR invoice requestsAssist in monitoring project status and notify Account Services of budget risks or out-of-scope financial impactsPerform budget reconciliations at the completion of all projectsRun reports, assist with various aspects of data entry as requestedAccount Management SupportIn coordination with the Account Services team, ensure that all client requests receive timely responses and are initiated with the team, completed, and delivered to the client in a timely mannerQuality and Risk ControlEnsure that all quality control measures (eg, editorial review, graphics review) are completedInitiate and maintain electronic files for all projectsAssume responsibility for file management to maintain version control throughout project lifecycleKey Competencies Professional behavior and confidenceAbility to manage outcomes to win-win resolutionExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail and timelinesHigh level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountabilityProfessional communication skills, including written and interpersonalAbility to coordinate and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to acquire relevant information from a variety of sources and maintain accurate recordsSound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skillsProficiency in Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applicationsAbility to master various electronic content management systemsDesire to meet professional goals and acquire new skillsQualifications:RequirementsBachelor's degreePreferred Skills/ExperiencePrevious work experience requiring multitasking and organizational skillsFamiliarity with marketing communications agency workflow processAgency experience (digital a plus)Working ConditionsIn-person collaboration is valued at key moments; travel may be needed when it meaningfully supports client or team outcomesThe role offers autonomy and flexibility with occasional time-intensive phases tied to launches or major deliverablesAdditional Information:Synchrony places high value on the well-being of its employees; therefore, Synchrony team members are eligible for a comprehensive array of benefits, including competitive salaries, generous paid time off, excellent health insurance, family leave, and a 401(k) plan with employer matching.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.EOE.
