Project Controls Engineer

The role involves overseeing critical path method scheduling for rail transit projects, coordinating with project teams, and assisting in report writing and analysis.ResponsibilitiesProviding and/or overseeing critical path method scheduling (via Primavera) to support client’s Program including design and construction rail transit projectsReview periodic CPM Updates, provide Primavera schedule comparison reports and detailed reviewsAbility to perform data gathering, qualitative and quantitative analysis with independenceCoordination with project teams to assess reporting and identify potential delays and create accurate forecastsInteract with clients under general direction and attend client meetingsAssist in report writing, visual representations of dataDemonstrates commitment to keeping up-to-date in knowledge of current practicesAbility to learn and grow to produce high quality business support and professional deliverables on projects and proposalsSkillsBachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience1-3 years of experience in developing and managing project SchedulesExperienced with critical path method analysis/technique with PrimaveraProvide input and comments to department of project controls including review, validate and analyze contractors' schedule for compliance including baseline and monthly updates. Elements including, completeness, logic, durations, activity, flow, milestone dates, concurrency, resource allotment and delays will be reviewedVerify the schedule conforms contract requirements and industry best practices.
